Relief Sale, Coming UpAugust 3 & 4.  One of the features at the sale is the “Quilt Corner.”  If you have unfinished projects, projects for which you have materials and never got started, or leftover fabrics, bring them to MCC Connections and designate them for the Quilt Corner.  These items sell very well.

Multi-agency Global Fabric Project at San Jose. You can participate! You can help support the San Francisco Mennonite Voluntary Service House by bidding on a hand-stitched quilt being crafted this week at the San Jose Mennonite Convention.  The “Global Coins” quilt was created from more than 30 different fabrics representing areas around the world where Mennonite service and mission agencies work and have partners.  The quilt is the culmination of a year of collaboration between MDS, MCC, Eastern Mennonite Missions, Virginia Mennonite Missions and Mennonite Mission Network.  Bidding on the quilt began Friday, June 29 on eBay and will continue until July 7 at 6 p.m. PDT.  See http://www.mennoniteusa.org/GlobalFabric for the link to the eBay site and a picture of the quilt.
