WHAT’S HAPPENING AT SMC . . .

Next Sunday the Covenant Players will be sharing with us during the sermon time. Covenant Players is a world wide non-profit organization of people who present the Gospel through drama.  We will have a carry-in dinner in the fellowship hall following our morning worship service.

Pastor Todd will be out of his office this week. Elders Paul Rohrer, Carol Schrock, Dave Smucker and Ruth Snyder will be available for assistance if needs arise.

Richard and Elizabeth Ross will host a table of eight persons at the Haven of Rest Annual Wooster Banquet, at the Memories Party Center on Tuesday, October 2, 2007.  Age is limited to individuals 18 years of age and older.  Please let us know soon if you care about this ministry and wish to attend this banquet.

Your help is still needed for our All-Church nights.  Sign up on the bulletin board if you could help by providing food or babysitting, or help with clean-up. Thank-you for volunteering.

The annual meeting of the Ohio Friends of the Calvary Hour  free chicken BBQ dinner is Thursday night, October 11, at 6:00 p.m. in the Kidron Mennonite Church fellowship hall.  A flute ensemble will play, and Bill Detweiler will be the speaker. Tickets are available from Elvin Mast or Ella Rohrer.

MCC is celebrating 60 years of mobile meat canning. The date and  location of relief canning is October 15 – 18, at the Gerber Building behind Central Christian School in Kidron. Volunteers are needed for many different positions. Volunteers can work a day or two, or 2-4 hours a day. Please be thinking about sharing, caring and ministering to others in this way.

·         Velda Rohrer-pray for healing after knee surgery
