WHAT’S HAPPENING AT SMC. ..

Anyone interested in seeing the collection of Norman Rockwell art at the Akron Art Museum, is welcome to join a group from SMC this Saturday. We will leave the church at 1:00 pm.  Admission is $10 for adults and $8 for students and seniors.

Youth / Mentors: Remember the meeting this Wednesday evening here at the church.

Our Wednesday evening All Church Night meals and activities will begin on January 16.  Some of you have expressed interest in planning / being in charge of a meal.  A sign up sheet is on the bulletin board if you would like to plan, help, or clean up.  Check out the list soon.  Thank you.

Ken and Pam Landis have a new address. Their new home is at 16861 Burton City Road, Orrville, Ohio, 44667.  Their e-mail address has also changed to KPLandis@zoominternet.net.

Breakaway needs your help. We are starting an After-School Christian Fellowship!  We need adult helpers with a heart for children who are willing to interact, help in the office, clean up or provide snacks.  Total volunteer time is 3 hours. All Ladies:  Please sign up today for the “after Christmas” brunch at Velda Rohrer’s.  This event will also be the “kick-off” of our first ever SMC Cookbook.  Stop in at the table in the hall for more information or talk to Louise Hershberger or Chris Miller.

Signature Ad sign up:  The annual Signature Ad against abortion will again be in The Daily Record on Sunday, January 20th.  Those who wish may sign up in Sunday School class or with Rita Wenger after church.  Donations of $5 help pay for the Ad.  Names are needed today to turn in by Tuesday, and donations are needed by next Sunday.

Please stop by the table in the west corner of the front hallway to update your directory information.  We would like everyone to check the information we have to make sure it’s current and correct.
