Congratulations to Tim and Kristen
Laird on the birth
of their son, Aaron John Laird. Aaron
was born Tuesday, January 15, weighing 7 pounds, 15 ounces. Aaron joins his sisters Amanda and Sarah, and
a brother, Joshua. Congratulations as
well, to grandparents Randy and Jackie Cole.
Thanks to those of you who signed up to help with
Wednesday evening meals. Help is still
needed for future meals. Check the list on the bulletin board and see when you
can help.

CHURCH COOKBOOK: Our first ever SMC cookbook is being
compiled under the direction of Friendship Circle Committee. All are welcome to submit recipes (men
included). Stop by the display table in the hall. If you have any questions,
ask Louise Hershberger. Recipes are due February 29.
The youth involved in Wayne County
Bible Quizzing are studying the book of Acts this year. SMC’s team
consists of Aaron and Andrew Mast, Ashley Mast, Monica Mease, and Janelle
Gerber. Rebecca Martin is coaching the team, and John Myers is helping as a
judge. Watch your bulletin for the
location of the Sunday afternoon quiz meets, and come cheer on our team and
their hard work.
Please remember to have all announcements for the
bulletin into the office by 10 a.m. on Thursday. Because of possible delays on the internet,
it would be good to call to alert me of announcements sent in by e-mail on
Thursday morning.
