Is your pinewood derby car ready?  The second race is for the classic previously raced cars.  Come early to have your car weighed.

Come to lunch and a craft event on Thursday, March 13, to help chse the winter blues away.  Meet at Longhorn Steakhouse in Wooster at 11:30 a.m. for lunch.  Then we will go to Pat Catan’s at 1:00 p.m. to make a wreath or centerpiece.  You may come for just lunch, just craft, or both. The flower committee is extending an invitation for you to share an Easter lily with the congregation again this year. You may do this in honor or in memory of a loved one. You may choose one stem, ($8) two stems ($16) or three stems ($23.50). The lilies will be placed in the sanctuary on Easter Sunday, and an acknowledgement will be printed in the bulletin.  A sign up sheet is on the bulletin board outside the church office.

Membership Matters!  Have you accepted Christ as your Lord and Savior?  If you have, I invite you to become a part of the SMC family.  A 5-session class will begin in March, exploring what it means to become a member of our family here at SMC.  Please let me know if you are interested. –Pastor Todd

One year ago today, March 2, 2007, a charter bus carrying Bluffton University baseball players overturned killing five of the players, the bus driver and his wife.  As a result of that accident, a bill has been introduced to improve the safety of motor coaches.  More information on this bill can be found at www.motorcoachsafetynow.com Including addresses of congress people to whom you may write if you Choose. Let’s pray for the families of those who were killed at this first anniversary time.
